Life is about opportunities; personal and professional development and growing into someone who can impact the lives of others. Life is about feeling valued and having an organization that helps you unlock your own potential. If you want to make a difference as you serve others; Granite needs you!
There are so many benefits to working for Granite. We want you to succeed with us and we’ve put together a robust package of benefits so you can make life happen.
Healthy employees = Happy employees. We’ve got you covered with Medical, Dental, Vision, and a Health Savings Account. But we don’t stop there. We also offer Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance policies so you can worry less.
When we say we value learning, we really mean it. We’ll reimburse up to 80% of your tuition costs ($5,250 annual maximum) to help offset the costs of higher education so that your goals are more achievable.
What’s your favorite holiday? If you said your birthday, we feel the same way! So, we count it as a holiday. You get to take a paid day off during the month of your birthday along with 11 other holidays each year. That’s 12 days to do whatever you want. And get paid for it.
Work means more when you get involved in the community. We give generously to local causes and provide fun opportunities for every employee to make a difference, in addition to the 16 paid hours of Volunteer Leave. Granite also matches employee donations to your favorite charity. You can feel good knowing your reach has extended farther.
We don’t put restrictions on promotions. We’re great at promoting from within the company without any restriction on length of service. You earn it based on merit. We give you opportunities to grow with a competitive salary and offer training courses to assist you in professional development. You pave your own path.
Two-thirds of your 401k is free cash. On the first of the month following sixty days of service, Granite makes 5% Profit Sharing contributions and we match employee contributions 100% up to the first 5%. So, if you contribute 5% to your 401K that makes three, count them, three “5%”s to help you bulk up your retirement plan. 5% + 5% + 5% = 15%.

We believe in providing sound financial opportunities to help pave the way for life’s biggest moments. At Granite Credit Union, we aspire to be a constant in our members’ lives; a trusted partner in both good times and challenging ones. We’re committed to doing whatever it takes to make it easy for our members to make life happen.
We want to help make life happen for our employees, too. That’s why we offer benefits that improve your work/life balance, allow promotion opportunities based on merit regardless of how long you’ve worked at Granite, and offer training for professional development. We look for people that add value to our company culture.
For us, it’s about building relationships that matter. We thought long and hard about what we value most in our interactions with each other and with our members. We narrowed it down to these five:
I am always learning. With knowledge, I unlock potential.
I am always helpful. It is what I give – not what I get.
I am always compassionate. I know everyone has a story that is still being written.
I am always trustworthy. I know people depend on me.
I am always happy. I choose to bring my best self.
